Stainless steel all thread studs, also known as fully threaded studs or threaded rods, are fastening components with threads along the entire length of the rod. They are commonly used together with nuts and washers to connect structural components, equipment bases, flanges, and mechanical assemblies. Compared with standard bolts, all thread studs allow flexible assembly, adjustable clamping length, and easier installation in confined structural connections.

ZSD Screw manufactures stainless steel all thread studs using controlled cold drawing, precision thread rolling, and strict dimensional inspection to ensure consistent thread accuracy and reliable mechanical performance. Production follows internationally recognized standards including DIN 976, DIN 975, and ASTM F593. Mechanical properties for stainless steel fasteners comply with ISO 3506, ensuring stable tensile strength and corrosion resistance in industrial applications.

Standard dimensions are produced according to DIN, ISO and ASTM specifications. Custom lengths and special thread configurations can be manufactured based on drawings or project requirements.

Strength Grades: Stainless steel all thread studs are commonly manufactured according to ISO 3506, with property classes such as A2-50, A2-70, A4-70, and A4-80 that define tensile strength and mechanical characteristics for stainless fasteners. For reference within broader mechanical fastening systems, carbon steel fasteners are often classified under ISO 898-1 with strength grades 4.8, 8.8, 10.9, 12.9, 14.9. ZSD Screw maintains controlled production processes, dimensional inspection, and mechanical property verification to ensure stable fastening performance and traceable product quality.

Surface Treatment: Stainless steel threaded studs typically rely on the natural corrosion resistance of stainless alloys. Depending on application requirements, the following surface finishing processes may be applied: Passivation treatment、Electropolishing、Cleaning and protective oil treatment. Additional surface finishing or special treatments can be arranged according to environmental conditions or customer specifications.

Applications: In mechanical equipment manufacturing, stainless steel all thread studs are widely used for assembling machine frames, mounting bases, pump housings, compressor units, and gearbox structures. Fully threaded designs allow flexible nut positioning and adjustable clamping force, helping maintain stable structural connections under vibration and cyclic loading.

In electronic equipment and industrial electronics, these threaded studs are commonly used in equipment racks, control cabinet structures, industrial enclosures, grounding assemblies, and precision mounting systems. Stainless steel materials help ensure corrosion resistance and dimensional stability, supporting long-term reliability in electronic and automation equipment.

In the new energy sector, stainless steel threaded rods are widely used in photovoltaic mounting systems, solar panel support frames, inverter brackets, battery rack structures, and energy storage equipment installations. Their corrosion resistance and adjustable fastening design support stable structural connections in outdoor environments exposed to moisture and temperature changes.

In conventional and renewable power generation facilities, stainless steel studs are used in pipeline flange connections, turbine auxiliary equipment, cooling system assemblies, and generator support structures. Reliable tensile strength and corrosion resistance are essential for maintaining structural stability under temperature variation and continuous operational loads.

In the automotive and transportation industries, stainless steel all thread studs are used in exhaust system assemblies, electrical mounting brackets, structural supports, and auxiliary component installations. The threaded rod structure allows flexible assembly and adjustment in vehicle production and maintenance applications.

In heavy industry and engineering equipment manufacturing, these studs are widely applied in chemical processing equipment, marine structures, construction machinery assemblies, and large mechanical installations. Stainless steel materials provide corrosion resistance and long-term structural reliability in demanding industrial environments such as offshore installations, processing plants, and infrastructure projects.

304-A2:  Moderate work hardening rate, suitable for general cold working and deep drawing processes. It has good cold workability and is widely used in the production of hexagon screws, nuts and washers.

316-A4: Added with molybdenum, it has stronger corrosion resistance than 304. It is especially suitable for applications in seawater and chemical media, with enhanced corrosion resistance and pitting resistance.

Notes:1. If the nickel content is lower than 8%, the minimum manganese content must be 5%.
2. When the nickel content is greater than 8%, there is no limit on the minimum copper content.
3. If the chromium content is lower than 17%, the minimum nickel content shall be 12%.
4. For austenitic stainless steel with a maximum carbon content of 0.03%, the maximum nitrogen content can reach 0.22%.
5. For products with larger diameters, to meet the specified mechanical properties, a higher carbon content may be specified in the manufacturer’s instructions; however, for martensitic steel, the carbon content shall not exceed 0.12%.
